Since 1955, the name Ugo Colella has represented a clear vision of masculine elegance: essential, refined, and in constant balance between tradition and innovation.
Our story is rooted in the determination of one man, Ugo Colella, who transformed a dream into reality through hard work, passion, and a deep respect for the art of tailoring.

The brand, Désirée, was born as a small artisanal workshop in the industrious heart of Naples, immediately standing out for the quality of its garments and meticulous attention to detail. Over the years, Désirée evolved into a well-established brand and eventually into a respected and growing company.

Thanks to the tenacity and vision of his son, Attilio Colella, the company took a new leap forward. In 1998, he launched a new brand bearing the founder’s name: Ugo Colella. From that moment on, the atelier became a point of reference in the world of high-end men's shirting first in Italy, then internationally.

Our work is guided by a simple yet profound principle: each shirt is a piece that tells a story, crafted by skilled hands, from fine fabrics, and with thoughtful stylistic choices.
